BREW: An Evening of Literary Works is a showcase for writers of fiction, poetry, non-fiction, and everything in between. It is a casual, fun, often spontaneous affair–and is intended as well to be a safe and inculsionary space for readers of every race, gender, and sexual orientation. BREW was recently listed by Brokelyn.com as one of “Brooklyn’s 10 Best Free Reading Series” and its inception written about for Lit Hub as part of the series “Reading Across America.”
BREW is curated and hosted by Stephen Langlois. Stephen’s fiction has appeared in or is forthcoming from Glimmer Train, The Portland Review, Monkeybicycle, matchbook, Necessary Fiction, JuxtaProse Literary Magazine, Phantom Drift, Burrow Press Review, Juked, Big Lucks, and Gigantic Sequins, among other places.
